Reisport® Men's Elite Protec High Bar Grips

Elite Protec high bar grips combine a Protec laminate palm with a hook-and-loop wrist closure. The palm is a laminate rather than a single hide — three times the strength of ordinary leather, stretching less than 1%. Elite is the hook/loop closure; the same grip with a threaded double buckle is sold as Hyper Protec.

Built for gymnasts who wear grips out

If you are replacing high bar grips two or three times a season, the failure point is almost always abrasion at the dowel and the finger holes. The Protec laminate is built to resist exactly that wear, which is why it has become the standard for gymnasts training at volume.

Under 1% stretch keeps your bar feel

Natural leather relaxes over months. As it does, the grip sits differently on the hand and the dowel sits differently on the rail, and the timing you built quietly drifts. Protec holds its shape and its bite, so the grip you compete in behaves like the grip you broke in.

Wide silhouette, slim dowel, three finger holes

The high bar geometry is unchanged from the standard grip: a wider palm for coverage at speed, a slim rubber dowel for rail feel through releases and regrasps, and three finger holes spreading load across the hand.

Finding your size

Measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Measurements below are in inches.

• XS: 6–6.5 inches
• S: 6.5–7 inches
• M: 7–7.5 inches
• L: 7.5–8 inches
• XL: 8 inches and up

If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size.

Finger holes should slide to the base of the second knuckle. Check the fit with your coach before use.
